ALCOM Streetlight
 The Streetlight 300 Free Space Optical System offers a low cost fixed solution for installations indoors and outdoors.Interfaces are multimode SC fibre interface for 200 mb/s for voice , image or data. Software is supplied which enables complete link supervision.
The ALCOM Streetlight 300 is designed for all types of short reange point to point applications. Utilising visible laser transmission at 690 nm provides licence free operation with a fast return of investment. The SC Multimode fibre interface can be used with a media converter for Cat 5 UTP connections. Typical applications include all digital binary signals between 1 to 155 mb/s or E1/T1 to E3/T3, ATM 25, ATM 50 and 155, FDDI, Ethernet10/100 mb/s and Token Ring.
Total link supevision is enabled by software supplied with the system
The Streetlight laser is compliant with Class 3 AFNOR NF EN60825-1 standards
